Shift: HYBRID (3 on-site, 2 remote)

Mon-Thu – 8am-5pm, Fri – 8am-230pm (On meeting days to discuss patient cases, you will be required to report on-site @ 6am.

The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for the coordination of Tumor Boards and associated activities. Prepares and is responsible for CME/CEU accreditation paperwork, submits applications, and maintains CME/CEU records as appropriate. Is responsible for statistical reports for all Tumor Boards and associated activities.  Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the Advent Health Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accredited bodies

·       Coordinates various tumor boards as assigned annually with the department medical and administrative leadership.  May establish schedule for each Tumor Board meeting and assist with room arrangements and coordination with satellite locations.  May align with site-specific Care Coordinator to assure cases for each Tumor Board at least one week before scheduled meeting.  Ensures moderators and presenters are notified.  Acquires presentations and creates handouts for audience (electronic/hard copies), sending electronic version to satellites, as appropriate.

·       Assimilates patient’s case presentations with presenting physicians, Radiologists, Pathologists, and other allied health care professionals, including clinical trial coordinator and social worker as appropriate.

·       Develops and provides schedules, appropriate signage, and correspondence to physicians, various campuses, leadership, other allied health care professionals, and pharm reps.

·       Maintains and updates mailing lists with Medical Director and administrative leadership for all Tumor Board activities.

·       Maintains statistical database tracking for tumor site, satellites locations, physician /nurse attendance reporting, Tumor Registry and CME/CEU requirements.

·       Prepares CME/CEU accreditation paperwork, submits applications, and maintains CME/CEU records as appropriate.

·       Executes medical videoconferencing for Tumor Boards at various campuses.

·       Responsible for setting up the equipment for readiness and operating the equipment during the Tumor Boards (ie: medical grade LCD, videoconferencing equipment, switchers, splitters, PACS, multiple laptops, light box, wireless touch panels, document camera, microphones, etc.).

·       9730 - Liaisons with Pharmaceutical Companies to secure exhibitor and grant sponsorship for conference activities.
