Job SummaryThe Infection Prevention Resource Nurse (IPRN I) collaborates with department/unit leadership to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate education activities, competency validation, clinical care, programs and initiatives for the assigned department/units/service line. Serves as resource in infection control and epidemiological issues. The IPRN I demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills and effective teaching/education skills and supports system level infection prevention and education nursing initiatives.The IPRN I supports leadership within the department including: quality improvement activities and resource accountability.
